Hi everybody,

How to add dimensions to a part in draft bench without clicking the dimension icon each time ?

How the auto generation of dimension works? I tried to autogenerate the dimensions by clicking the icon and it doesnot work. Can someone help me.

Thanks

RE: Catia Dimension

Have you tried double clicking the dimension icon ?
This lets you do the function till next icon selected.

Hope this helps !

RE: Catia Dimension

Hi goodlook,

Besides "double click", Ctrl Y can also bring back the
last activated icon which is, in your case, the Create
Dimension Icon.

For Auto Generation of Dimensions, in what ways it doesn't work??

As far as I can see, if I have created one of the
following "constraints", Drafting will bring them into
the view during auto generation of dimensions:
      distance,
      length,
      angle,
      radius
      diameter
in 2D sketcher or 3D constraints or Parameters

Cheers. Kennis Tang.

Thanks kings and tkchiu,

To generate the auto dimension feature I selected one of the views. How is the proceedure for generating auto dimension?. Most of the functions are new to me in Catia.

Thank you all once again
