Please, provide more info, namely in which context; since isolation current transformers are used rarely in comparison with voltage isolation transformers. Generally, isolation transformers are used for:
1. Blocking DC component
2. Safety
3. They tend to have Np/Ns turn ratio = 1
4. Blocking ground fault currents or leakage ground fault currents.
