You should go to the masonry web sites. By the way isn't 'psi' a compresive strength per unit area? What is "net area"?

dicksewerat....masonry strength can be given on net area or gross area.  Net area is contact area.  Gross area is lateral area of exterior dimensions.

Mshani...ask your question in another forum, not "Structural Steel Engineering" forum.  Even the concrete forums will get you closer.   As Dicksewerat indicated, there are many masonry sites.
