I can not select face in patterned components in upper level assembly

I can not select face in patterned components in upper level assembly

I can not select face in patterned components in upper level assembly

(OP)
I have assembly A where I have linear pattern of certain components.
Assembly A is then inserted in higher level assembly B.
When in assembly B I can not select the face of patterned component in assembly A.
Any ideas?

Well, it solved itself in some mysterious way. It did not work after I used Ctrl + B and Ctrl + Q.
Then I checked it into the Vault and checked out and sometime , I can not recall when, I was able to select faces.
Ghost in the machine? smile
