Nvidia or AMD GPU?

Nvidia or AMD GPU?

Nvidia or AMD GPU?

(OP)
I'm building a new PC which I'm going to use for gaming and also for blender + unity to do some gamedev. I have two questions:

1: I read that AMD GPUs are slower at blender rendering. Is the difference only in the rendering speed? Is there any difference in general performance while navigating the viewport, editing the models, etc?

I won't be rendering anything in blender at all. I'll use blender just to make some low poly assets which will then be imported into unity and rendered in-game.

2: I also read that AMD GPUs have driver and compatibility issues which make blender crash, etc. Is this true? https://www-krogercomfeedback.com/

RE: Nvidia or AMD GPU?

Every card has problems; they all have different problems, even from the same maker.

I'd be asking these questions on the Blender forum or Blender user group.
