Hi,

Would the Windows upgrade (from Windows 10 to Windows 11) alter the Solidworks software?...

Thanks

RE: Upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11

It might... Due to all the Registry entry changes that will occur. Then again I am no IT expert, I would ask an IT guy if you have one available. For me personally, I am holding out as long as possible on Windows 11. I have been through too many OS upgrades that claim a lot but are nothing but a flop... Vista for example.

Do a full backup. You may have to reinstall SW.

Might depend on the version of SolidWorks you have, too.
Is your current version compatible with Windows 10 and 11?
