Stepper motor problem

Stepper motor problem

Stepper motor problem

(OP)
Hello

The following setup: Arduino mega 2560, DM542T driver(from https://www.oyostepper.de/), Nema17 motors, 24V power supply for driver, ESTLCAM V11 software

The following problem:
The motors only rotate anti-clockwise, when controlled to the right the motor only clicks
With manual buttons from PUL only one direction works - measurement with multimeter DIR-GND in anti-clockwise direction 4.6V i.e. HIGH.
With LOW on DIR contact (0V) nothing happens.

Already tried with other motors and drivers, always the same problem

RE: Stepper motor problem

Get a scope and see that the motor is getting the proper signals in the correct phase rotation to be able to run the other way.

The rest of us have no way of knowing what you've done. If no motor works, and no driver works, then what remains is the signal wiring from the arduino and the internal logic inside the arduino. If it's only got working logic for sequencing forward rotation then it ain't goin' backwards.
