Hi ,

I am designing an electronic enclosure that needs to meet IP62 ratings. The enclosure is split into two halves, top and bottom and have an EPDM gasket between them, that will prevent the water and dust from entering the enclosure. My question is about, how many bolts should I use to secure the enclosure and the spacing between them. How do I calculate the compression on the gasket due to the clamping of the enclosure halves and how do I ensure that its uniform around the periphery of the enclosure?
