Hi All,
I have the test results of the dynamic cone penetrometer. There I have the number of blows per 100mm penetration for 4 layers (0mm to 400mm)
Can I please know it is possible to determine,
1. Soil density
2. Soil cohesion
3. Soil friction angle with those data?

If it is possible How to determine it?

Any replies will be highly appreciated.

You would be better estimating the parameters off local knowledge that trying to use a DCP correlation. You can use it get a fell for whether the soils is loose/soft etc but thats about it when it comes to estimating soil parameters.


and do a search on DCP in the threds, its been discussed many times before
