Fire Pump Motor

Fire Pump Motor

Fire Pump Motor

Hi, fellas
one of our client's inspectors engineer insists that the screw(shown with a yellow circle in the attached picture) is missing and don't accept use in the project.
so is there any technical explanation for why this screw is not exist there?
also that the other side of the motor has this hole without a screw in it!
almost all of our purchases from this brand have this feature but this is the first time we faced this question!

RE: Fire Pump Motor

What did the motor/pump mfg say? It is the only explanation I would accept if I questioned it as the AHJ.

RE: Fire Pump Motor

Is it threaded ???

Same comment as lcrep

Maybe a mount for an accessory,,, you do not need?

RE: Fire Pump Motor

@LCREP manufacturer of electro-motor doesn't reply to my emails!
if you have Marathon Electrics technical support email, please share it with me.
thanks a lot.

RE: Fire Pump Motor

@cdafd Yes it is threaded
there is no accessory with the electro-motor or standard requirements to mount an accessory!

RE: Fire Pump Motor
