Hi,
How to count the (total) number of the components in a SolidWorks assembly, including those under subassembly?

Thanks

Hi, CAD2015:

Normally, I don't use flatten BOMs. I think they do what you need.

Best regards,

Alex

You can open assy in SW Treehouse, then open in Excel.

CAD2015,

I would use the "Performance Evaluation" command on the "Evaluate" toolbar & let Solidworks give you the information.

This is at the bottom of the the dialog box that opens.

Thanks for your reply, as well.
I am a beginner in SW (just three months) and I do not know anything about the SW Treehouse.
I am working on it.....
