(OP)
we are developing a jacquard machine with oscillating motion mechanism. There is a oscillating central link which will carry 1600 N on each side and will oscillate at the rate of 250 cycles per minute. Also Machine should run 16 hrs/day and bearing service life should withstand about 30000 hrs. With these conditions we have to select most opted bearing for that central oscillating link. We are struggling which one is suitable 1.Needle roller bearing, 2. Spherical roller bearing, 3.Plain spherical bearing. Anyone can guide me.....

RE: which bearing is more suitable for high speed oscillating motions

If you are rotating a small amount then needle and roller bearings might be a problem - the rollers need at least one revolution per cycle to move the grease around. Plain bearings are good for low rotation motions but have speed limitations. Spherical bearings usually used if there is a need to compensate for misalignments during the stroking (needle bearings not so good for misalignments).

I would reach out to the Graphite Metallizing Corporation.
