If I have a control valve with quick opening, I know the CV value when full open and I have a graph showing comparing valve open percent to flow percent, how do I find the time to open the valve?

RE: Quick Opening

Ha,

A quick opening control valve describes the percent open vs CV curve.

How fast you physically open the valve is up to you.

If its manual then as fast as you can turn the wheel.

If its actuated then it depends on the speed of the actuator.

But can be say 1 second to infinity....
