Hello everyone. I am designing a joint connection for the precast concrete walls with the frame structure. I have selected a connection as a M20 bolt is inserted in an angle steel plate with a slotted hole which is fixed in a concrete beam and a backing plate of grade Q235 is inserted inside a bolt and attached with an angle plate using an elastic material such as polyethylene then, the nut is tied using a certain preload. Do you guys think that the connection is flexible enough to resist the seismic load as well as shear load.

Flexible enough to resist the loads is perhaps not the wording you want to get a clear answer.

Is it strong enough? No one here will know without knowing the loads. We dont know which part of the wall this occurs or what the loading directions are.

I would avoid that type of connection and slot for that type of loading. Can you have the support fastened to the precast panel so it can be put in place to be adjusted without tying up the crane during the process? Also a vertical slot requires the panel to be clamped to the supporting angle, else the vertical slot allows movement... else you have weld plate washers.
