Hi. I have to assess an existing house which proposed to have 2 basements. Is there any idea how to do the seismic load calculation for the basement walls? Retaining Walls and wood walls? Any guidance. Thanks

Does your code require you to even consider seismic load on a basement wall? Typically this is only an issue in moderate or high seismic areas. If so, do a Google search for the Mononobe-Okabe method. I don't understand your comment/question about retaining walls or wood walls.
