Can we model base plate connection in sap?

Theoretically yes. When I've tried this, the analysis predicts about a million ksi right at the flange tips and it's hard to interpret the results.

You might consider checking out some journal papers that used FEA for base plates and see if they have an easy way around this.

RISABase uses an FEA approach and worked pretty well the last time I checked. You might consider it.

Also consider looking at Hilti Profis, and the method they use to FEA the baseplate. It is actually a hybrid FEA called component based fea also used by IDEA StatiCa. I would highly reccomend using a procedure like this if you want reasonable results. It would be a huge project to setup even one of these in SAP, best stick to a pre-built tool.
