hello to all,
i think it is inappropriate forum to post my query but can u suggest any sanitary forum available on Engg Tips website. i tried but couldn't be able to found any forum regarding sanitary fittings and also can any one of you suggest me a good platform for literature & study material or book regarding design of sanitary fitting & valves. our company mainly manufacture industrial valves & fittings but now aiming to enter in sanitary & plumbing industry and as a design engineer they have given me task of making single lever concealed diverter & mixer we use for hot & cold water. i already have samples provided by customer but still i want to study in detail regarding all this product.

Suggest a trip to your local domestic tap supplier as the starting point, don't see any point in trying to reinvent the wheel when it's already been done, see what's available, look at the good points /bad points and how you would or could improve what is already available.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Yea, thanks i have sample of product which i need to replicate. its just i want to learn some basic & mainly internal parts working in detail because we planned to develop more products in future.

Get a few and make sure that they all have the right certifications.
Test them.
Then take them apart video the entire process.
You will find a vast range in performance and ease of use.
It depends on what price/performance point you are aiming for.
