Transforming a 3D FEA problem to 2D axisymmetric

The "Axisymmetric analysis of a threaded connection" example problem in Abaqus documentation might be sufficient but check also the YouTube video "ABAQUS tutorial | Bolt Thread Stripping Analysis with XFEM | 17-4".
