Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

(OP)
Damn ... That conservation of mass and energy is sooooo yesterday !!!!

As you can plainly see from the 3D model, the atomic whiz-bang thingie between generator one and generator two amplifies the "ambient energy" in the MBA force field around the vehicle. Its all a simple matter of Advanced Phologiston Theory

You can get out 14 times what you put in ....

To quote the CEO on LinkedIn:

I am proud and excited to share the news of our updated prototype - ElectroEdge. Our final test was carried out on May 2nd, 2022, and energy generation was 14 times more than the input. It is about time to fly electric planes longer and faster without carrying heavy batteries.

and, from their website:

Panhwar team continuously clung to the belief that “Whatever you think, you can do it. You are the only person who knows you can do it. Don’t listen to other people if they try to put you down,” Nick says. “At one time, I was told I was a complete idiot. But take those things as motivation and try your best. You are the one with the idea. Others haven’t done it, so they think it’s impossible. But if you think it’s possible, never give up on your dreams.”

The renderings are an insult. If you're gonna steal money, do it with a bit more attention to detail.

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

Some gullible VC has chucked 10 million bucks of somebody else's money into this.

On May 2, 2022, a final test was conducted with an updated prototype, where ElectroEdge produced 7.36kw (AC) given the input was merely 511watts (DC), meaning it generated over 14 times more energy compared to the input (Output: 120volts and 61.3amps: Input: 22.2V and 23Amps). Above all, ElectroEdge can be entirely customizable based on load and application demands.

Bear in mind that this prototype was 3D printed, according to Co-Founder and Chief Engineer Nick Panhwar, around 35% of the efficiency is naturally expected to intensify when the unit is constructed with titanium and aluminum.

Wow - if they are getting a power gain they should try putting a few dozen of these in series. With that amount of energy available we can start building Ring World.

If I were to be charitable for just a moment....

Do we think it's possible they genuinely measured both 120 volts and 61.3 amps, just not the phase relationship between them?

This kind of thing should work

"Defying the law of physics through the Panhwar energy system that proficiently powers electric plane"

You gotta like the alliteration there. I'd donate a few French francs to the cause...since they're worthless now anyways.

Then they'd be on-par with the corporate donations/write-offs that fund much of university "research" today.

I've worked with quite a few similar entrepreneurs in engine development. The bit I always find interesting is googling founders' careers, many tend to be serial entrepreneurs with businesses ranging from fast food to spaceflight.

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

Assuming the image in the OP is an accurate mock-up of the test setup, what are the odds that they tested this thing in an open field with the wind blowing across the 'Turbine' blades? So they use a little fan to blow on it and measure the power input at the motor leads, but then the wind skews their results and spins the turbine 14x as fast as the little fan could?

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

You think it was even a real, physical test? Or a simulation, maybe?

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

The fact that they don't see a problem with stating, "DEFYING THE LAW OF PHYSICS THROUGH THE PANHWAR ENERGY SYSTEM THAT PROFICIENTLY POWERS ELECTRIC PLANES" is a problem in itself. Getting above unity is cray-cray enough, but 14x?

It's so unfair to post this alien technology from planet BSUltra in a forum full of people that only know a thing or two about Earth physics... in planet BSUltra this jet arrangement works like a charm...

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

Strangely enough the layout is similar to that of the Ljungström steam turbine, which had a central radial flow turbine, with two sets of contra rotating blades, each driving a separate ac generator. These were electrically connected with stators in parallel and fields in series, and electrically treated as one generator. Applying the field in run up would bring the two into step. Turbine technology died out as it could not deal with higher steam pressures. 50MW about largest rating i think.

Ljungström became STAL (Svenska Turbinfabriks AB Ljungström), who became ASEA who became part of ABB.

Getting back to this fantasy, i note with glee that they have a hot air generator in the middle!

i wonder if they used a catapult launcher (aircraft carrier type) to get it into flight & generating power?

If it is as good as they say, how do they reduce power to land it?

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

(OP)
Yes, indeed, HOXTON ... there is a large and powerful "hot air" generator in the middle of the device.

As we both know, "Hot Air" Generation is commonly used on the MBA planet BSUltra,

I think you've confused the planet of origin with Unobtainium winky smile

I just found out that the founder of Panhwar is a woman, so possible shades of Elizabeth Holmes and "fake it until you make it"

She and Nick Panhwar (relationship unclear) are supposed serial entrepreneurs, but a previous startup Teamknit with also great press https://psa.cioreview.com/vendor/2018/teamknit but clicking on the first product in the products pulldown results in errors from a company that's barely 4 years old

The intro to one website or article does say they are married.

But I have no idea how they have managed to get someone to throw away the amount of money that they have reportedly got to "develop" this piece of nonsense.

She and Nick Panhwar (relationship unclear) are supposed serial entrepreneurs

Maybe it is just me, but I've never heard of a successful business person described as a serial entrepreneur. It is always scammers. If they ever had a successful business they would refer to themselves as the founder of said business. If they tried this even a year or two ago they would probably have gotten some VC funding taken the company public via SPAC, and left some unsophisticated retail investors holding the bag.

With interest rates on the rise, this type of vapor ware garbage will hopefully die out, without reaching Nikola or Theranos levels of enthusiasm. I'm probably to optimistic on that front though; because, there are still plenty of morons buying into trash coins and NFTs promising 2000% returns.

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

Serial entrepreneurs do exist, ala Elon Musk, but the label should only apply to successful ones. The Panhwars are not, and have not even had one successful company yet.

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

I never said serial entrepreneurs don't exist, just that successful ones usually don't refer to themselves by that term. While the term "serial entrepreneur" does technically apply to Elon Musk, and likely many other successful business owners, they don't describe themselves in that way. Even the media doesn't usually refer to Musk with that term. The terms I normally see are something along the limes of "tech billionaire" or the name of one his companies followed by CEO, founder, or billionaire. If some one refers to themselves as a genius, visionary, or any other elevating adjective in my opinion they are usually anything but, and are attempting to frame your perception of themselves. This tactic is commonly used by con-artists to grant an air of respectability.

RE: Perpetual Motion Machines in Jets !!! ---- This is where the Industry is headed !!!

I get what you say, but even Investopedia describes a series of people as "serial entrepreneurs." https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-fin...

All I know is that apps are being developed that will overcome all of Newton's laws and Einstein's too.

Where would humanity be without a steady supply of fresh young STEMmers?

At least a few of those "endorsements" are almost bots, random people selling their own stuff, and using the endorsements as free advertising

I guess my tongue wasn't firmly enough in cheek: I was hinting at none of those endorsements being for a technical/engineering aspect, regardless of if it's a bot or otherwise making such.

Now if someone could just come up with a scheme for Perpetual Motion Flying Unicorns I'd be prepared to throw all my money at it and probably mortgage my house too.
