RE: Looking for a 'rule of Thumb' for c

I would expect the prices to vary week-to-week based on availability and competition for steel, just like most steel construction. It will also vary with the size of the project - placing an order for a million pounds of steel will be cheaper than a couple of tons.

Perhaps there is such a thing, but I cannot even estimate what a tank of gas will cost 6 months from now. According to https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/steel steel rebar has gone up nearly 30% in the last 6 months.

Get a design together and send it for bids.
