Symbol in hydraulic circuit 1

Hi,

May someone explain me what is the symbol in the figure with the arrow pointing at (the little square beside the valve)?

From my thoughts, could it be representing a pilot operated valve (without the black arrow inside)!?

Recommended for you

Not a valve just the 'operator' that will work against the far side spring. In this case it's hydraulic since it's dotted to a hydraulic line. Could be electric, could be mechanical, it's general.


That whole valve appears to be blocked unless the pressure gets up to a certain pressure then the adjustable flowrate orifice gets shoved in-circuit.
