I hate to put my guys names in a public forum like this. I don't want to piss him off. But he was in the Jacksonville Office.
In researching my records, the direct answer I got from CASE (and I'm not sure what CASE stands for) was:
"We appreciate your interest in our CASE Program CWALSHT.
If you work on a contract with the CORPS:
We do provide this service to our government district/divisions. If your team is working on a project
with one of these district/divisions, you should contact them and they can get access to CASE software
and can provide you with this service.
If you work on contracts with a form of the government (state or local ) or school/universities:
Please send us a brief description of your project and who you are working for. On occasions my supervisor has made exceptions.
However, I regret to inform you that it is possible that your request for access to this applications may not filled.
Funding constraints has forced the termination of this free service to non-government persons. Other distribution
options were explored, but none were able to meet security restrictions."
I can't imagine how much effort there is to send a computer program through Email, but apparently, it's pretty costly.
