(OP)
Hello there,

I'm new to excel VBA, but I found this thread that does exactly what I wanted (the code sent by JG2828 (Electrical)), but when I copy the codes and try to run it, excel keeps popping up a macro window telling me to give it a name?

I'm wondering why is this so? and how do I workaround it?

I know we're supposed to replace the selection with our selection, but how do I do this exactly? Or can we change the selection part to the active worksheet? If yes, how would we attempt to do so?

Thank you so much in advance

RE: excel won't run

Can you provide a screenshot of the window popping up. Nothing in that code is asking for a name/input if I'm understanding your description?
