Oilfield Skid

Oilfield Skid

Oilfield Skid

(OP)
what is the international recognized standard for structural skid for oilfield manifold?

RE: Oilfield Skid

Whatever the local fabricator wants it to be / what size channels and beams he can lay his hands on easily or whatever he built last time.

If they are being paid by the tonne you'll have something that could hold up a large building.

Manifolds and similar are not really structural, more just made big enough and strong enough to withstand the installation method.

Why do you ask?

RE: Oilfield Skid

There is none.

But, It must fit into its transport space and between the pipe and the dirt.

Hehehehehe...bigsmile

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Feel any better?

RE: Oilfield Skid

That one came from a North African country when I asked why even the smallest filter skid was made from steel that would hold up the largest pyramid and about as big and was told the local fabricator was paid by the tonne of steel used.... And they were responsible for the design.
