Dear all,

Hope you are doing well, first I would like to thank you for your help and assistance with my question,

Basically, today, I have to main questions which are very important for me as well as a project that I'm working on,

1- I did a modeling four-building steel structure SCBF type in Etabs software, however, I want to add two main elements to my structure which are the PT-Bars (Post-Tensioning) with a special Area labeled as Apt and Dissipation elements. PT-bars I want to add them along with the height of the structure at the mid of the bay as it is shown in figure 1. when I try to add an element in the structure as it is shown the figure 02, I believe that added elements (at the mid-bay) are attached to the floor which means they work under the compression force which it is coming from the floor and this is not the feature of PT-bars, the aim of adding this element is to work under the tension effort like the cable. I'm not able to find this option in Etabs software would you please help me with it.

2- My second question is about the energy dissipation element which I have to provide at the base of the structure where we make support, in figure 01, the energy dissipation element, they are modeled as shear fuses I want to add such things of energy dissipation element, it's been days and days for me looking for it and I couldn't find it when I checked in Youtube or any other research paper they provide Viscous damper where they modeled it along the diagonal line of bays but this is not exactly what I'm looking for. I attached another picture about the energy dissipation at the base of the structure figure 03. Would you please suggest to me how can I model such a thing of energy dissipation element in etabs?
