thread1203-459228: Hopkinsons (UK) Boiler Safety Valves Type A7000

Hi guys,

I know you guys are knowledgeable and experienced, please assist me here. I am managing and engineering a project where we are servicing boiler drum and superheater safety valves. The valves are Hopkinsons Torsion Bar safety valves and have a Figure No. 7020. I have been trying to find datasheets to no avail, i am in the process of creating the Repair reports for the valves but I need the datasheets for a more enhanced reference on my reports, my guys are currently doing pre-testing on the valves before we start stripping. Please assist, if you know anywhere where I can find the datasheets please refer me.

RE: Boiler Drum & Superheater Safety Valves

ValveBloke in the earlier thread should be able to help. Hopkinsons got swallowed up by Weir who renamed themselves Trillium. The Huddersfield plant has the info for you.

Per ISO-4126, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.
