Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

(OP)
My customer has put GD&T or FTA in Catia terms on some 3d models they supplied me. The files are all part files. For some reason, I'm not able to see the GD&T after unhiding. Can anyone tell from the 2 pictures below if there's a setting I need to activate or if my license even allows for me to view GD&T in the 3d workspace?

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

but there are no annotations in the Annotation set?

LWolf

There is nothing in that Annotation set 1. It shows that it's hidden and I am unable to un-hide it. It just stays shaded even after hitting unhide.

I'm just trying to figure out if this is a user error(me), supplied error(my customer), or a licensing error.

Is what the customer gave you native format (*.CATPart)?

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

(OP)
The files they sent were correct. We were missing a license. Thank you!

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

Please enlighten us - which license was missing?

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

(OP)
Oops, sorry. The 2 I have circled are the ones we were missing.

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

If you were supplied with a .catpart, you wouldn't need the ST1. That's for step file translation.

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

(OP)
That was for another part of our problems. We were not able to save CATPART as Step to open in Solidworks.

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

FTA is what is need to create them.
And I assume to see them as well.

RE: Do I have the proper license for seeing GD&T?

I don't have access to the FTA license to test this, but I've created some 3d annotations with the Part Design workbench. This is what the tree should look like of the CATPart file includes FTA annotations (which include GD&T). As I recall from my previous experience at Boeing, you don not need any special license to see the 3D annotations.
