Need oil resistant sealant for Pressure Fryer

Need oil resistant sealant for Pressure Fryer

Need oil resistant sealant for Pressure Fryer

(OP)
Hello
I have a problem where oil around the cooking box of a pressure fryer seeps under and gets burnt by the flame beneath and produces smoke that burns eyes. I will attach an image of the seam that needs to be sealed.
The sealant must be able to hold up againsnt constant exposure to cooking oil at approx 150°C. The metals highest temps while cooking is around 120.
Any advice or sealant recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

RE: Need oil resistant sealant for Pressure Fryer

Hey,
If the box can be mechanically clamped to the table, I figure the best choice would be a silicon rubber gasket (for oil resistance), likely not a size you can find so might be worth looking into a 'strip' of silicon so to speak. You can also find silicon RTV (Room-temp vulcanizing) kits that would allow you to create a custom fit.
