hey i currently working on thesis as requirement for my bachelor graduate, my thesis is about constructing acoustic enclosure in microhydro powerplant, enclosing the turbin francis. my thesis supervisor ask about the engineering contruction, dimensionering, etc of the enclosure itself but i try to find the literature about it lately and i can't find anything specifically. So far my thesis progress just got about determine the material enclosure.

do you guys know any literature (book, journal, thesis) about industrial acoustic enclosure that i can look at? thanks...:)

thanks! @Greglocock, i'll look for it, beranek is one of the legendary in acoustic field, do you happen to know about acoustic enclosure design guidelines? maybe there is an international guidelines of it that contain guidelines about designing an acoustic enclosure, if you happen to know something let me know.

Sound Criteria: Indoors/outdoors, Overall (dB-A) level, Spectrum (1/1 Octave, 1/3 Octave, FFT
Acoustical Performance: Noise Reduction. Transmission Loss, Absorption/Reverberation
Enclosure Type: Close fit (lagging or removeable), Walk-in, Drive-in
Enclosure Materials: Soft/flexible, Metal composite, wood-composite, masonry-composite, plastic-composite
