Good day, folks!

I have a bachelor in Industrial Engineering and an interest in getting a job in the automotive industry. It has been hard to enter this field in my country (Brazil) since the recent economic crisis and coronavirus thing, so I thought getting more qualifications and practical knowledge would help.

Would a short automotive mechanics course (165 hours, 70% practical) help? It's focused on diagnosis and cars repair. What other diplomas and courses could improve my odds?

As an IE, maybe something quality related, so six Sigma? I was a summer intern testing solid state relays (dodge neon fan controllers) at the factory where they were made. I was at a meeting with probably 10 people of various importance at the table and one of the agenda items was a *single* unit had failed under warranty and was being shipped to the failure analysis lab from the dealer.
