Good Afternoon,

We want to make gasket for exhaust pipe for car.
I am looking for standard/regulation about design and evaluation for this gasket.
All help gratefully appreciate

Many thanks,

There is no standard or regulation here. You need to look at clamp load available and temperature and select a gasket based on that. Assume an oxidizing atmosphere for best durability.

Or, start with Thermiculite 815 and downgrade until your price point becomes acceptable without failures becoming a problem.

The last few exhaust gaskets I've purchased have all been made of what appeared to be recycled soft drink cans, the outer surfaces were shiny but the inner layers definitely had coloured print and 'ingredients' listed on them.

Worth noting that these were post-catalyst gaskets, the cooler end to say the least.
