How to simulate diferent CAD geometries with same settings/parameters in ANSYS Fluent

How to simulate diferent CAD geometries with same settings/parameters in ANSYS Fluent

How to simulate diferent CAD geometries with same settings/parameters in ANSYS Fluent

(OP)
Hi all,

I am getting started with ANSYS Fluent in my new job. I have a large number of CAD geometries that I build and I have run simulations in ANSYS Fluent using them. My simulations are all the same in terms of settings, just the CAD geometry is different. My question is: How can I save the settings/parameters of a simulation, so I can simulate different CAD geometries without having to define all the settings/parameters all over again in each one?

I thank you in advance,

Best regards,
Hugo

RE: How to simulate diferent CAD geometries with same settings/parameters in ANSYS Fluent

have you tried scripting (File > Scripting>Record Journal) at ANSYS?
you can click on Record Journal at the beginning, before you start defining and entering the parameters.
then you will get a file with XML language.
for the next task you can call the file "Run Scripting file" again.

this code from Github can also be helpful.
