SolidEdge 2020 Drafting proble with 3D Mouse

People,

Having been a Previous NX user for many years I have downloaded Solidedge 2020 drafting for crunching some little drawings for my hobby. I have a 3D Connexion USB compact SpaceMouse that does not seem to want to work with Solidedge 2020 drafting, can anyone point me in the direction of a fix.
WIndows 7, latest 3dconnexion drivers Loaded, Solidedge Plugin IS selected.
maybe it is not supposed to work with solidedge drafting ?

anyway, thanks in advance to anyone who may have a solution

OK People,

I have researched this to death with my own appetite to find the answer
and that is that 2020 Solid-edge Drafting is not currently destined to work with the 3Dconnexion 6-axis mouse
for basically rapid ZOOMING AND PANNING

RE: SolidEdge 2020 Drafting proble with 3D Mouse

If you have the "Free 2D Drafting" license of Solid Edge, then the 3Dconnexion add-in will not work as the Solid Edge API it needs to interface with is not active in that license. You would need to be using a paid license to get the active API.
