Dear Engineers,
Could you please share or name a few books or design guides regarding structural design of Water Tank, based on ACI code or other relevant American standards.
Thanks.

See the linked paper (PCA method) to get start. I think ACI has a design guide on tank design as well. Link

ACI 350 is the standard for concrete tanks containing liquids....similar to ACI 318 but adjusted to respond to the need for crack control.

Another link, ACI 371R, Link

A "water tank" can be many things under a variety of design guides/codes. The posts thus far have presumed a concrete water tank for potable water. If so you might consult the design guides of the American Water Works Association (AWWA). If you are designing a steel tank for water storage, you will need to consult other codes/standards such as AISC and AWWA.

NewbieInSE:
Just recently, I saw a catalog for the latest in ‘tank tops,’ much more interesting than the silly stuff the guys above are talking about, better looking too. You might be wasting your time on a less interesting sub-topic of tanks.

Thanks everyone. I am going through those papers you shared.
