Dear all,

May I ask whether you can recommended any books or papers with regards the structural engineering of floating structures (breakwaters, floating body systems mooring systems, connecting systems .. etc)?

Thank you for now.

Try contact/search on US Corp of Engineers' website.

The Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) may be a good source.

They have a design guide specifically for moorings (albeit not specifically for floating structures) as well as some for piers and wharves. Lots of good information in there.

They also have a design guide of floating piers for small craft.

Not too sure about specifics for breakwaters.
