Ferromagnetic-high melting point-high strength material
Ferromagnetic-high melting point-high strength material
(OP)
Hello everyone,
I am a mechanical engineer. I am going to perform an experiment in which two rods (diameter=15mm, length= 100mm) at around 1000-1100 oC pressed each other in a thermo-mechanical test machine like (https://www.zwickroell.com/en/institutes-of-higher...). The maximum pressure is less than 100 MPa. I am looking for a Ferromagnetic material (for heating it up with the coils), with high melting point and high mechanical strength at high temperature (1000-1100 oC). Would you please suggest any options available to me?
Best Regards,
Hossein
