Valve Identification - schematic symbol 1

I originally tried to use that but i asks you to select a file. I select a file, then the only button i have left is cancel!
How about if I describe it to you.
Picture a proportional valve 4 port 2 position (infinite position, spring return, electrically actuated)
Normally closed position = all 4 ports are blocked with a "T" in each position
Open position = shows two arrows one pointing in one direction (straight up) and the other pointing the opposite way, (straight down)
In addition to the arrows there are flow restriction symbols ")(" that straddle each of the two arrows.
I think I have identified this as a proportional throttle valve with chokes inline with the flow paths.
The question i have is this. Since the arrows only point in one direction does this make this flow only one way? Or is it possible to reverse the flow through that valve?
This is basically being used as a buffer system for an oscillatory device so there is no pump or tank.

When you've selected your file click the Open button on explorer and it zaps the photo into the post.

I figured as much but before i opened my mouth i thought i would ask the experts.
@ LittleInch, I did try what you mentioned originally, but when I click the open, nothing happens, no zapping and the upload image dialog still remains (with no file selected) The file is a .jpg so its not the wrong filetype. Maybe its my browser.

Note that the arrow along the line indicates a press compensated proportional valve. That would mean at each setting it will maintain 'about" the same flow regradless of delta P. Note that putting a manual flow control downstream (say for stabalizing back pressure) of a press compensated valve does not do much good. The press compensated valve will dominate the flow.
