Deflection limits of Steel deck structures- BS 5950 code

Can anyone let me know the maximum deflection limit (Span/limit) for a steel platform structure ? I am planning to design this platform using steel columns and beams and 6 mm plate is welded to the top of the joists(as the supporting slab). I am using BS 5950 code for member design.

The purpose of the steel platform is to use for storing of crates of production material.(each crate weighs approx 20KN).

Thanks in advance.

RE: Deflection limits of Steel deck structures- BS 5950 code

BS 5950 is out of date....use Euro code now
Deflection limit is always project depending....

This is from the 2000 Edition:

Thanks Klaus and Retrograde for your replies !

Retrograde: According to the Table, i think it is most suitable to use Span/200 as the limit for my structure.

Cheers !

White Paper - Using Virtualization for IVI and AUTOSAR Consolidation on an ECU
Current approaches used to tackle the complexities of a vehicle’s electrical and electronics (E/E) architecture are both cost prohibitive and lacking in performance. Utilizing virtualization in automotive software architecture provides a better approach. This can be achieved by encapsulating different heterogeneous automotive platforms inside virtual machines running on the same hardware. Download Now
