Dear All
There are procedures to calculate the shear studs in plate reinforced coupling beams
I couldn't see such requirements in Steel reinforced coupling beam. Are they not required.
Can i get reference (AISC /ACI) for designing steel reinforced coupling beams

ASCE produce a design guide for hybrid coupled walls that contains good information on this type of system.

I would note though the mechanism by which they transfer loads to the wall is more of a vertical force bearing couple at the wall face and end of the beam. The studs don't really transfer loads in these arrangements, more just to hold the beam in the concrete wall and hold the concrete to the beam. All covered by the guide linked to though.
