I would like to ask for your help, to solve a problem under Abaqus.
Thank you in advance and I would be very grateful.
My problem is the following one: I want to model a textile under abaqus, I would like to introduce the viscoelastic behavior but I do not know how to obtain the shear test data asked by abaqus, knowing that I will make tensile tests, but I do not know not what data should be entered under abaqus.

To define time domain viscoelasticity you can use one of the three options: directly specify Prony series parameters, use creep or relaxation test data or frequency-dependent test data. Both creep and relaxation tets data can be specified as shear, volumetric (one of them or both) or combined. So it's not necessary to perform shear test but you may still have to carry out some additional experiments.
