Hello.

My question about grain size requirements for ASTM SA 312 TP347. SA 312 has table 5 with grain size requirements there are steels with item H like 347H, but i need to know grain size for 347 with out H. Where can i find such information?

The H grades require coarse grain size.
In most of the specs the non-H grades have no requirement.

ASTM A479 also only specifies grain size for H-grades. 347 and 347H many times are the same they are dual cert.
For other applications, this austenitic grade sometimes is asked for grian size 5 or finer. not 7 or coarser.
