Boundary conditions for injection moulds

Boundary conditions for injection moulds

(OP)
Hi all,

I would like to simulate a small cut of the injection mold (see picture), and first challenges are:
what are the boundary conditions and what analysis system in Ansys (I simulated that in thermal stationary analysis) should simulate that.
My boundary conditions are (see picture): on the 2 sides as symmetry.
Where the plastic flows as convection? and in rectangular cooling channel (where the water flows in to cool the injection mold) also as convection?
I simplified this as 2D to understand the model first, and then step by step.

Thank you
