I need to know if the Airbus A320 is fitted with an IDG or Generator/CSD and if so the part number of the IDG or AC generator and Component Maintenance Manual number and any failure related items reference to the main stator/main rotor/excitor rotor/excitor/stator

Contact Hamilton Sunstrand and ask them if they supply an IDG for the A320. Hamilton Sunstrand is the only company that makes IDGs. I've dealt with them before and their engineers are very helpful.

Try this...

The A319, A320 and A321 all have IDG's (no great surprise there). The part numbers I cam up with are 740119 and 766219(model #'s 90EGS01I 90EGS27I). They are in Ham Sund CMM # is 24-11-79. The CMM will reference all of the other related component CMMs. Good luck getting them to help you with this. They'll want a ton of money for it.

To Fred Garvin thank you for the information it was just what I needed. I note your comments concerning losts of cash needed for Sundstrand help !!! We do not expect to get it as we are competitive with Sundstrand for the rewind actiivities of the AC generator elements of the IDG !!!!!.
