UK Salary Survey
UK Salary Survey
(OP)
Is there any appetite here for bench-marking staff salaries in the UK? I am aware there are several websites that track this, but generally data is lacking or of unknown origin / accuracy. It's been awhile since I've shopped around and salaries don't generally seem to be advertised.

RE: UK Salary Survey
This is what you could expect to see: https://www.apega.ca/about-apega/publications/sala...
The question of applicability of each response also has to be dealt with. This internet thingy has gotten around, and you could get an answer from New Zealand or Norway or Mumbai. Not sure if world salaries compare well with you in Scotland. And then there's the variety of industries - the petro salaries are often 25% higher than other disciplines. On a cultural level, openly discussing salaries is fun and comfortable for some people, indelicate and leading to jealousy in others.
As you may have guessed, I don't put much stock in survey results (unless I can use them to tactical advantage).
