Blowdown (Reseat Pressure) of 400 Series AG Pilot valve?

Blowdown (Reseat Pressure) of 400 Series AG Pilot valve?

Blowdown (Reseat Pressure) of 400 Series AG Pilot valve?

Can anyone answer the Blowdown %(Reseat Pressure) of 400 Series AG Pilot valve?

RE: Blowdown (Reseat Pressure) of 400 Series AG Pilot valve?

Hi. The AG 400 Series is a Modulating Pilot SRV design. Actual Blowdown will depend on fluid and inlet piping configuration etc. Typically though, this design will return 3 to 4 % blowdown.

Note that some manufacturers claim 0 % blowdown.Here they will claim that since the valve is of modulating design, the valve will open and close according to the pressure rise and decay!. What you have to understand is that Pilot Operated SRV's are made up of 2 valves. The main valve and the pilot valve. All to often claims are made against the pilot valve only. The main valve governs the flow.

Per ISO, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.

RE: Blowdown (Reseat Pressure) of 400 Series AG Pilot valve?

If the blowdown is the issue, then please proceed with the AG 80 series.
81 83 --> for gas application
81P --> for liquid application

White Paper – Data Security and Know-How Protection
Our data is constantly exposed to the danger of being intercepted or stolen as it wends its way over global data networks. Data security measures and measures for protecting intellectual property should not, however, first be implemented when data is exchanged – companies must lay the foundation for these measures within their own organization. White Paper – Collaboration in the PLM Context
The influence exerted by the Internet of Things (IoT) means that there is a steadily growing need for collaboration in industry.
