Hello,

in the image attached, two towers, same geometry, operating conditions, and liquid properties.
One has an outlet that goes directly into the receiving vessel
The option B has same outlet, but with a P trap type outlet, i.e. down and up before disposing into the next vessel.

Apart from the obvious extra 2 or 3 90 degree elbows and extra pipe length, if the heights are the same as shown, will there be extra pressure required to push the liquid into the next vessel?
