Adams ERROR: A syntax error is in this function expression.

(OP)
hi

i'm defining a state variable in adams/car when I run the Full car test after defining the state variables , 4 of those variables have this error :

OS-environment variable
ADAMS_CONTROLS_WTIME=20
Adams Controls. Sets the total wait time (i.e., until time-out) in start-up to create a pipe for a pipes-based co-simulation or function evaluation when using Adams Controls on Windows.
Controls will test for the pipe every half second and may finish before the end time. Options are integers. Default = 60 (seconds).

OS-environment variable
MSC_USE_FORTRAN_STYLE_RELOAD_MESSAGE_FILE=1
Asol SDK. Enforces Adams Solver (C++) to use the Adams Solver (FORTRAN) message file style when reloading.

command: file/model=Speed_15mph

etc, so what does line 8891 actually look like in your adm file?

RE: Adams ERROR: A syntax error is in this function expression.

(OP)
I don't know because I can't find it …. how can I fine that line ???

but this error appears exactly when I define the state variables for the measures I have defined …

this error doesn't even come up when I define measures only … but as soon as I define state variables for the measures I see this error and the simulation doesn't even start
