I'm trying to optimize an nonlinear function in Mathcad using the Maximize function. The function has 15 optimization variables. Problem is that only 3 converge to the right solution (I know that the optimum must lie on the boundaries). The other parameters change a little from the initial guess, or do not change at all. I've already tried to play with the values of TOL and CTOL. I've also tried to multiply the function with a large number (in this way the gradient increases and the chance to convergion is increased, did work in MATLAB). It doesn't work unfortunately. Can anyone help me out??
Thank you
