Regarding the emergency sector.

Does anyone here have experience with surface water management in urban displacement settlements? (flooding in refugee camps in cities).

I am trying to gather information on the subject and would appreciate any input.

If you have the time I have put together a questionnaire that you can complete which gives some structure to the data gathering.

Questionnaire

Alternatively, any general thoughts on the matter, literature on the subject etc.

Cheers
Sean

I don't work with storm water issues regarding refugee camps but I do get involved with storm water management and SPCC's for automobile reclaiming centers (junk yards) which your pictures of a refugee camp seems to have parallel conditions found in junk yards with exceptions obviously. Junk yards abound in the US and all or most have storm water issues, therefore, don't limit your inquiries to those people whose experiences have only dealt with displaced settlements.
