Chemical plant explosion in Jiangsu China

Chemical plant explosion in Jiangsu China

Chemical plant explosion in Jiangsu China

The explosion apparently involved benzene. I don't know how much more information will eventually be released but there seems to be several videos of the incident. The facility is described as a fertilizer plant or a pesticide plant. There was a school less than a mile from the facility and over 60 casualties reported so far.

RE: Chemical plant explosion in Jiangsu China

Man! That blast at 12seconds is insane! I'm amazed there aren't thousands dead.

I'm not sure that is even the biggest one. In the video I saw there were two explosions and the second was many times larger.

Edit:

I found it. Actually there are three explosions in the video. Each larger than the previous. Mute for some swearing if you prefer.

Edit: Edit: This one is 2015 Tianjin. Not the same incident. My mistake.

That is one of the two largest blasts I've ever seen. That second video literally raised the hair on my neck! INSANE. That facility should not have been anywhere near a populated area.

Wait! That's not today's blast that's the 2015 Blast in Tianjin container yard. Note it's at night.

You are completely right. That second video is 2015 Tianjin.
